HP Mini Conversations in Singapore
10 April 2008I confess. I totally. love. the HP Mini.
And Engadget thinks this is hot too!
And not just because we’re working on the launch here in Asia.
But here’s what this page is for: To track blog posts and other conversations surrounding the HP Mini in Singapore.
Makes it easier to share information doesn’t it?

Oh… and Blogger Party tonight! Stay tuned for photos and stories tomorrow!
Party’s over… Van’s first to whip out a review here.
Updates:
- Awesome video by Michael and the Tech65 crew. Love it! Love it! Love it!
- Preetam commented that the HP Mini trackpad may be a little too small for those who want to move their cursors from top to bottom of the screen with just one flick of the fingertip on the track pad. My suggestion: Build a motion sensor into the Mini’s space bar; and use that space bar as an extension of the track pad. So it serves two purposes: space bar; and top half of a track pad.
- Which leads me to my next idea… a couple of HP’s Pavilion series entertainment notebooks have a remote control (for the entertainment features) docked face-up on the notebook… just beside the keyboard. How about this – instead of a trackpad, have a touchscreen media player (like the iPod Touch) docked where the track pad should be. This way, it serves as a track pad when docked into the notebook just below the keyboard; and when taken out from the notebook, serves as a portable entertainment device (with Touchscreen)!

Thanks, I had a great time.
I think Bernard was the first to blog about it, actually!
I’ve tagged my photos ‘hpmini’
Bernie’s post was a pre-event one; and I think he’s working on a review next
